Below are pictures of the welcoming home of the 530th MP Battalion at Fort Omaha on 1/17/2009.
Over 100 soldiers returned from their 12 month tour in Iraq. Specialist Charles Bowerman and his with Teresa assisted with the welcoming home event as well as members from our Troop.
The Nebraska Chapter of Patriot Guard Riders also lined the entrance path holding US flags officially welcoming the troops. There were also two ladder trucks from the Omaha Fire Department that together suspended a huge American flag as seen in the pictures below.
Those in the pictures below are SP Charles Bowerman and his wife Teresa, there son Charles an Eagle Scout, Tyler Hempel an Eagle Scout, Jared Juel an Eagle Scout and Scout leaders Tarry Hempel and Suzette Juel.
