The Mormon Pioneer Trail
- The road in front of our orchard as well as our orchard are named after
the Mormon Pioneer Trail, which was the passage for the Mormons to Utah
in 1846.
Boy Scout Troop 249 - Tyler our oldest
son and several of his friends enjoy lots of camp outs and scouting fun with the
troop. Nick, our 11 year old advanced from Webelos February of 2007 and joined the troop as well. I consider myself very lucky to serve as the
troops Scout Master and enjoy these special times with my boys as well as all
the other scouts.
Smokn BBQ -
Wayne and Karen are friends of ours and have this fantastic BBQ business. They
offer BBQ at several of the areas special events every year and even cater for
private bookings. I highly recommend their service!
Whispering Hills Winery
- Whispering Hills is located a few miles east of Carson Iowa and Mike and Dana
